GEMS follow up/Other notices

Why are there 26 votes made for the GEM poll when there is only 25 of us? I bet some of you voted twice.

Anyway, results are as follow:

• 11 votes for Magic course
  
• 8 votes for rollerblading
  
• 3 votes for cooking/baking
  
• 2 votes for a drum course
  
• and 1 vote each for frisbee and hip hop/dancing
  

Suddenly I just remembered that archery may not be a bad idea as well. So now, let's narrow down to 3 choices: Magic, archery and rollerblading.

Anyway, our welfare secretary, Kiral, has suggested that we go eat Fish and Co. @ the glass house. Now, I suggest the following times:

• Friday, 7th March: At 1830, after CCAs
  
• Sat, 8th March: Lunch/Dinner time (Kiral also suggested that we can go catch a movie afterwards if we are eating lunch instead - so it becomes something like JTS-cum-CT outing)
  
• Sunday, 9th March: Lunch/DInner time
  

Now, finance matters for JTS. Erm, I suggest that we each pay $20 (Yes, non attendees must also pay). Then, on the day of JTS, see how many seniors turn up, then allocate $20 to each senior that turns up. All the surplus money collected should be divided evenly and returned to everyone who paid. This ensures that the money you paid did not go towards paying for your classmates' meal or senior's extra charges. This also means we are less likely to be broke after JTS. Also, bring your own money for the meal if you are attending JTS. This ensures that everyone pays their fair share, and not some pay more and some pay less.

Also, I will be working with our treasurer for greater finance transparency. I am sure all of you would like to know exactly how much money was spent on what areas etc and how much surplus is left. So look out for financial updates soon.

Next up, a few reminders:

• Please get your parents to indicate their attendance for Parent-Teacher gathering on ISP
• GP Compre test on Monday, we are at LT4 

Finally, I will be emailing you guys a copy of the newest updated contact list (as of 1st March) soon. So please check your inbox.If I got time, I may also create a secured area on my site for our class to upload some stuff such as our contact lists. This ensures that our private data will not be exposed to prying eyes.
