Greenworks and GP Essay Qns

HIHI,

first things first - I have typed out the list of questions for the GP essay that is due next monday. So, if case you have lost your copy or you decided you want to change questions, here it is: 

"Rules are made to be broken." What rules do you think should be broken and why?

Why is it that most predictions for the future are of doom and gloom. Do you think such an attitude is justified

"You (Singaporean Teenager) are a generation that is especially blessed." (Lee Kuan Yew) How far would you agree with the MM's sentiments?

"Television is indeed a true mirror of modern society; unfortunately, the image it reflects is an extremely ugly one." Comment.

"All beliefs and customs that violate human rights should not be tolerated." Discuss.

"Work used to be good for the mind, body and soul; now it has become the ruination of all three." Discuss. (intellect, health and spirituality)

Do you agree with the view that, eventually, technology will always solve the problems it creates? (extreme - cannot solve moral problems that it creates - technology as a short term solution only)

"The idea that the world will one day become a global village is utter nonsense." What do you think?

Has the government of your countries got its priorities right both in terms of its present policies and future plans?

"Developing countries must welcome change, not resist it." To what extent is this good advice?

Examine the claim that politicians should not interfere with scientific research.

Is art anything more than is a pleasurable pastime?
