first things first - I have typed out the list of questions for the GP essay that is due next monday. So, if case you have lost your copy or you decided you want to change questions, here it is:

We've really gotta do choose what Gems we wanna do. Its been narrowed down to cycling(east coast most prolly, xt wud like that...), bowling, ice-skating(might over exceed budget so u wud have to foot some of the bill). Or if ur dun mind, we could have baking lessons like some artemis classes are doing. Its time to make up ur mind coz i have to get everything thru the admin. And everyone must turn up.

Some of us wants a post-blks class outing so its decided that next saturday, we are heading down to WEST COAST, for some sea, sand and fun. Do come! Stepping down

It is with my greatest pleasure and also regret to announce that I am stepping down as CT rep for our class. I suppose it is better for both the class and me. After all, everyone do deserve a chance to lead the class, despite perhaps a lack of experience. I was also exhausted myself mentally, given that I had multiple commitments and my studies to juggle. A Fac Comm role would have probably killed me. Moreover, I supposed I screwed up the Science Symposium thing quite badly, and I did not communicate with the rest of the class properly. So hereby, I apologise for any mistakes that I have made during my brief term as CT rep.

Regrettably, to tell the truth, I wanted to be in Fac Comm so badly at the start of the year was 90% because of portfolio, and 10% because of fun. However, now that I think I have a rather good portfolio, I suppose a Fac Comm role is no longer important to me. As such, I suppose I would just have to assume the role of a normal student and follower as from today onwards.

It was fun being your CT rep, and I wish Teckyuke the best of luck for his term. (NOT)

Even though he like fking made me do saikang for 3 mths

He will now also be in charge of ur GEMS and any class outings. =)

And congrats to Jon Quah who made it to fac comm as well

Creating Knowledge - A Chemistry Initiative

Hey Guys!

As Mr Loo has mentioned during Chemistry tutorial today, he will be starting a Chemistry Collaborative Project with our class to create a set of crtiical notes for this year's chemistry curriculum to facilitate our revision for chemistry A levels next year. Of course, as mentioned in the title itself, this is a collaborative effort from everyone in the class. Therefore, I appeal to all of you to participate and chip in to this document. The first document is on moles and stoichiometry. If you are interested to help out in this document, do add a comment, tell me personally or just mention it in the tagboard on the left.

Athena Fac Outing

Ok, I know this is very last minute, and I doubt anyone will read this in time, but:

There is an Athenian Fac Outing on the 19th APR, (which is the upcoming Saturday) at the NTU 8th Degree Lounge from 1830. A 10 Course Buffet will be provided for a mere $16. Also note that there is a Fac Prince and Princess competition, and we are to nominate 2 candidates from our CT. Besides that, there is also a pool competition. There is no limit to the number of pairs per CT, and you get to play for free and there are prizes to be won.

Voices in Flight - 9th May & 11th May

Hey guys!

The Hwa Chong Choir is having its annual concert on the 9th and 11th of May. Since we're a class with many representatives in performing arts (guitar, string orch, mad, etc), it'll be a good idea to support and enjoy their performances. I know guitar and dance nite is coming up, so keep tuned.

Anyway, do come and show your support for the choir! Both Song Shuang and I will be performing at the concert. It will be held at the Victoria Concert Hall on the 9th and 11th of May. Tickets are priced at an affordable $15 for Hwa Chong students, and we are aiming for a full house on both nights.

So what are you waiting for? Voices in Flight 2008 promises to be a night of colorful voices and fun! Hurry and place your order with Xiao Tian now, and do indicate whether you're going for the 9th May concert or the 11th May concert. And if we order more than 10 tickets and submit the form ASAP, we stand a chance to win a $80 Venezia voucher! Now who doesn't like ice-cream?

hahaa. i guess that a very appropriate title for what i am gonna say in the next few lines...

Kindly bring S$20 dollars tmr( Friday 28th Mar 08) and pass it to Jia Xi, who will be conscientiously collecting all the cash that you are gonna pass to him. pls do note that this 20 dollars is only meant for the SENIORS' SHARE, thus, when we go for the JTS itself, pls bring sufficient cash with you to PAY FOR YOURSELF.

Speaking of which, the JTS will be held when I have collected all the money from you all, so pls be so courteous, nice, considerate, and responsible and PAY UP!

If you have a great suggestion as to where we can go for JTS, do suggest to me. The tentative date (assuming everyone pays up, cp), will be on this saturday night.

Hi guys =)

Thanks for the great turnout (14/25) at Post-Athena-CIP CT Outing, even though it was very last minute (Actually I only got the idea yesterday). Anyway, for those who missed out, we watched Spiderwick Chronicles at the Cathay, played table soccer and KFC for dinner. I thought Spiderwick was rather nice myself.
